April 04, My wife and two kids did a Volksmarch around Ramstein village, near Ramstein AB.
Location
About 10 km west of Kaiserslautern, just of off A-6. In the Rhineland-Pfalz, Germany
This is a big Volksmarch with many Americans from the K-town area.
Length
They have a 6, 10 and 20 km.
We did the 6 km trail. However, according to my GPS, the time I spend on the trail and how tired we were, it was longer. My GPS told me it was 9.3 km.
Trail Quality
The train was mostly flat with much of the time folling a local highway. There was very little city walking. Much of the trails had fresh gravel on them. It made using a normal stroller difficult. However, a jogging stroller had no problems. (How to read the stroller scale)
